Al-Kafeel Museum completes handover of historical artifacts to Kadhemiya Holy Shrine

The Al-Kafeel Museum has delivered the last batch of restored historical artifacts to the Kadhemiya Holy Shrine. Officials praised the joint restoration efforts, ensuring the preservation of priceless heritage. Some of the artifacts date back centuries and were restored to the highest standards.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Kafeel Museum of Treasures and Manuscripts at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has completed the handover of the final batch of museum pieces to the Kadhemiya Holy Shrine.

Engineer Laith Al-Kaabi, assistant head of the museum department, stated that the last batch of artifacts—consisting of 13 pieces—was officially delivered to the Kadhemiya delegation following the completion of meticulous maintenance and restoration work under the framework of the joint cooperation agreement between the two shrines.

Sheikh Emad Al-Kadhemi, director of the Kadhemiya Center for Heritage Revival, highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the two shrines, emphasizing that the restoration efforts were conducted by the skilled staff of the Al-Kafeel Museum. He noted that these efforts adhered to the highest standards in the preservation of historical artifacts.

Al-Kadhemi further explained that the received collection consists of rare and valuable artifacts, some dating back several centuries. He stressed that handling such delicate pieces requires extensive expertise, and praised the technical team at the Al-Kafeel Museum for their efficiency in ensuring their preservation and historical significance.
